Welcome to API Conversations. I'm Marsha Barnhart API's Chief of Investigations and your host for this Conversations episode. My guest today for this edition of API Conversations is Norio Hayakawa.
Norio is a resident of New Mexico and probably best known for his work investigating the anomalous activities in and around the Dulce New Mexico area. He is a blogger, an activist and, as such, the driving force behind a citizen oversight committee...the Civilian Intelligence Central.
Norio for a very long time has been looking into the strange world of what we collogquially term "UFO's" . His research and examinations in this area has taken him on quite a journey. In the beginning his belief centered on the ET Hypothosis. Now, after many years immersed in this field, he has come to see the phenomenon in a much more nebulous light.
Our conversation was wide-ranging and he took great pains to maintain a skeptical approach but still
face head-on the scope of what he feels is more akin to the philosophy embodied in John Keel and Dr. Jacques Valee's work.
Keep an open mind as you listen to the thoughts and reasoning set forth by Norio Hayakawa. I think you'll find our Conversation quite engaging. By the way, our show notes include links to Norio's blog, and selected guest appearances on several recent nationally syndicated radio shows.
Here now is my interview with Norio Hayakawa conducted on January 19th, 2017...
That was Norio Hayakawa, blogger, researcher and activist. You can find out more about Norio in our shownotes links at apicasefiles.com. I'm Marsha Barnhart, your host for this Episode 4 of API Conversations, which is a spin-off off of API Case Files. This podcast is a production of Aerial Phenomenon Investigations. In this episode, Marsha Barnhart examines closely an Identified case in Colorado, and a Brooklyn case closed as Unidentified. Paul Carr covers his recently closed-as-Unidentified case in Manhattan, and Prof. Antonio Paris briefly outlines his most recent case still under investigation in Texas.
Antonio, Paul and Marsha discuss the attributes of what they're looking for in prospective investigators to join the API Team; that discussion began with the scientific and academic communities extreme reticence to engage in UAP and anamalous phenomena research.
Paul Carr presents the 8th installment in the series Unidentified Science, this time on Scientific Skywatching.

Marsha Barnhart held a spirited conversation with Podcaster, Blogger and Author of “A Trojan Feast”, Joshua Cutchin. His book examines folk lore of food and drink offerings purported by witnesses from Aliens, Faeries and Sasquatch. Marsha also discussed Joshua’s recent Blog post regarding the seeming inability of the materialistic scientific approach to answer oddities and high strangeness associated with many UFO reports and experiences.
Joshua Cutchin is a native of North Carolina with a long interest in forteana. A Trojan Feast is his first book. He is currently working on his second. He holds a Masters in Music Literature and a Masters in Journalism from the University of Georgia. Joshua is also a published composer and maintains an active performing schedule as a jazz and rock tuba player. He has appeared on eight albums and live concert DVD’s.

In this episode, Marsha Barnhart reports on a small-airplane-sized, orb-like sphere case in Winston-Salem, North Carolina; Paul Carr talks with Podcast UFO host Martin Willis. (This is an excerpt from his full interview with Martin Willis, showcased in API's newest podcast offering API Conversations.) Antonio Paris, Paul Carr and Marsha Barnhart discuss the need to collate well-investigated UFO cases to narrow down information into a solid, useable database. And they talk about the propensity of videos on YouTube that are hoaxed or poorly vetted by people just interested in making money off the UFO side-show.

Paul Carr in conversation with host and producer of Podcast UFO, Martin Willis.
About our Guest, Martin Willis:
The subject of UFOs has fascinated Martin since his youth, yet he was on the fence about the subject. He experienced a sighting in 2006 in Carmel Valley, CA, that solidified his beliefs that UFOs really do exist. Since this time, Martin has paid attention to what others have to say about the phenomenon with an open mind. Pondering what UFOs may be, or if they are possibly extraterrestrial helped spark his interest to another level. In the last number of years, Martin has become interested in astronomy and always maintained a strong scientific fascination of our vast universe. Martin feels certain that we are not alone and thinks it is possible that some small part of our government knows that and keeps it from us. As an armchair UFOlogist, Martin created Podcast UFO in November, 2011. Martin’s mission is to provide a place where anyone could interact and be heard who had a UFO experience or insight on the subject. Martin is an artist as well as a longtime antique & fine art appraiser.
